On Friday September 4th we closed the doors of the Gashouder venue at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. After three days all exhibitors went home knowing they had a big hand in giving the industry a positive impulse when it comes to picking up business again with at least a part of their customers. All knew in frond it would be not the exiting Evolution show they left last year at the same time. Back then we had nearly 900 visitors, as this fair clearly due to the traveling restrictions of most of the customers just had 163 professionals visiting the show.
After interviewing most of the exhibitors a few things became pretty clear. We as organizers did everything possible to make this show happen which was very much appreciated. In terms of sales considering the circumstances most exhibitors went home with sales according their expectations. Some exhibitors did even better compared to their earlier participations at Evolution.

Next show in May 2021

We hope situations regarding Covid-19 will normalize in the coming period. Hopefully our next planned show 19-20-21 May next year will not come to early in that respect. We proved that our organization is capable to organize a fair following all protocols necessary to guarantee a same environment to do business. Thanks to over 60 exhibitors this time our customers were able to choose the right designs for their new collections face to face.
As a few customers stated: “the best way to choose the right designs is to see them in real, preferably with your colleges to discuss things on the spot”. Well spoken I would say.
